Last year I think I was a little more restrained, and I displayed the plates on either side of the flower print. This year I loaded the room with mirrors and candles and greenery. I like both. But I have a bit of a need for excess around Christmas. Although the first is perfect symmetry, the second is not exactly symmetrical - it is balanced, however. Which do you like better?
