At some point my kids counted the chickens in my kitchen and I think they got into the twenties. I have more restraint now, but I still love chickens. I think people get the wrong idea, however. They think I love the animal. (I've been given books on how to raise them, for example.) The truth is that chickens are a French Country Motif. I love French Country design and chickens fit right in, and so here is one of my favorites. Cast iron with white paint and really heavy - perfect door stopper - and, I am afraid, not the last chicken I will show you.
Anybody out there collect chickens too?
